June brings me to my ninth month at GK Icon as a goalkeeper coach, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time there and continue to develop as a coach and find new ways to improve youth goalkeepers and apply scientific knowledge.
I was featured in a documentary with Sky Sports as part of GK Icon, and one of the sections highlighted the expensive nature of goalkeeper gloves.
Growing up as an outfield player, this is always something that I overlooked and according to Arsenal Women’s Goalkeeper Coach and GK Icon Owner Ian Biggadike, goalkeepers can go through 6-8 pairs of gloves per year.
