By understanding these, you’ll be in a better position to perform well and avoid setbacks.

1. Skipping the Warm-Up

I can’t stress this enough. Skipping the warm-up might seem like a time-saver, but it’s a huge mistake. Your body needs time to prepare for intense exercise. When you don’t warm up properly, your muscles are less flexible, and you're at higher risk of injury. A good warm-up gets the blood flowing, increases your heart rate, and ensures you're ready for the exercises ahead. So, no matter how eager you are to jump into the action, always take the time to warm up!

2. Not Focusing on Technique

It’s tempting to rush through practices, especially when you’re excited to play matches. But if you focus too much on speed or power, you might neglect the basics of technique. Whether it’s passing, dribbling, or shooting, having solid technique is what separates good players from great ones.
